Future blackmail photos

That's right, this is just the begining of the numerous embarassing pictures that I plan on showing to Morgan's first boyfriend. Clearly, she is not as entertained by her crazy hair as I was.Getting a little funnier.... Okay Mom, you're right this is funny!!

Lazy days of February

Here is how Austin viewed most of the SuperBowl.A little pajama time on Sunday morning. Do you think we are overstimulating her?

Look at that form. I thinkwe may have a future pitcher here??

Miss Morgan showing us what a big girl she is becoming

Austin reading to Raumi, Shor-Tee and I.

Austin helping Dad mow the lawn...I will let you know how long this excitement over the lawn mower lasts.

Oh, sunny days!!

We spent our weekend enjoying the unseasonably warm weather. I think I had a few San Diego flash backs.
We also went to go visit Aunt Pat at the airport. We all took a nice long nap after that journey.

We went to a soccer game too. Hence the reason for the new-found love for our soccer ball.

The House of Mouse

We made a RANDOM trip to Disneyland this past weekend. We met up with our friends the Leyva's. These little ladies are only 1 day apart.

We had to BEG Austin to stand next to McQueen. This was supposed to be the highlight of the trip. :-
Dad and Morgan checking out the characters.

Ernie and Austin were comparing "Pansa's"

We have been unable to pry these little ears off of Austin

The horses were definitely a favorite.

See how spry and full of energy they look. Well, it wasn't this pretty after 9 hours of the happiest place on earth and minimal nap time clocked.

A whole lot in one little blog entry.

With my new-found addiction to Facebook, I have struggled to keep everyone updated on our growing little family and our travels. So, take a seat, because I have compacted one month's worhts of kodak into one blog entry...Enjoy!

Granny closes in on 97 years.
Morgan being held, as usual. She is not picky about the set of arms just so long as someone is holding her.
A Boa-Constrictor/Corgi.

A trip to the cabin and lots of coooooold weather.

And, if you can believe this, they still like each other. I am still anticipating a "blow-out" once Morgan can begin stealing crackers.
While Austin discovers the Christmas "booty" and a crazy old man dressed in red,
Shor-Tee discvovered the tree but couldn't discover how to get out of the tree... he is truly special.
When we got to Brawley, there were chores to be done,

...fences to be climbed
and horses to be fed.

And Morgan discoverd the bright lights of Fischer Price,

and even let her brother play with her toys. (for some reason that favor is never returned from Austin)

On Christmas morning Santa made a stop at the Tonka yard,
but I think the Catepillar is closest to his heart.
Morgan enjoyed her first Christmas mostly from behind closed eyelids and the tight grasp of various arms. Needless to say I don't think she was let down by her first Brawley holiday.

Austin and Shor-Tee continue their love/hate relationship. Did I mention they got "Hulk Hands" for Christmas. I think Austin enjoys them more than Short-Dog.

Morgan sat in her bumbo on an elevated surface and lived to tell about it.

And last, but never least, we have a smiling, teething, sitting-up baby girl! Happy half birthday Miss Morgan.

Merry Christmas

Morgan 5 1/2 months Austin "helping" with the Christmas tree.

Alas, Thanksgiving

We did Thanksgiving with Grammy and Pappa Mike this year. We tried and tried to get some photos of the kids but this was as close as they would get. I didn't think the cooties thing set in until elementary school. Okay, so they did get a little closer as long as someone was holding them.

A visit to San Diego too.

We took a trip to San Diego before Thanksgiving since we wouldn't be able to make the journey come the actual Turkey Day. Austin loved seeing the planes landing in Little Italy, it was quite a novelty for at least 30 minutes of the weekend. Morgan was a great little sleeper and eater as usual and even kicked out a few surplus smiles for us.

And of course the Dogs always enjoy to exotic locations for their multiple naps throughout the day.
