A baby girl turns ONE!

We celebrated Morgan's first birthday a week early. We had lots of families to accomodate and we figured Miss Morgan wouldn't mind. Granny came to celebrate with her Great Grandaughter too.
Mowgz got to enjoy her first cupcake and she had NO problems putting it away. I think she was even asking for more after she had licked her fingers clean.

This was her cake, it's really just made up of mini-cupcakes. It was super cool!

Mowg-z and her Papa Garcia. We had a hard time getting Papa Garcia to share her.

My giggly girl enjoying her backyard swing. Overall, she had a great day with her family and showed everyone just how sweet she is.

A day at the park

This is Morgan pleading for someone to please push her. She is a total dare devil! My 97 year old granmother had her swinging so high and fast when she was at the house that Adrian had to leave because it was making him so nervous. Morgan loved every minute of it and wasn't the slightest bit concerned that the I-Bolts might slip at any moment. Here's the happy girl

Austin can't be ignored either, so Dad has a full time job swinging both.

My Girl!!!

May Flowers

May was a busy month. We swam, birthday'd and traveled to Brawley. While this may look like a belly flop, Austin calls it a cannon ball. He doesn't complain so we don't tell him otherwise.
Mowgz is a total water worm, even when it's cold.

Put her in a floating dalmation though and she can't keep her eyes open. She knocked out

Getting braver by the day. We will see what our swim lessons bring. Last year they traumatized him and he didn't get in the pool again.

I am not even going to tell you how GROSS this water was when all three kids got out. For some reason it was unseasonably warm...

Dad lovin' on his little girl.

Austin Ross Turns 3

First there were the friends to be invited. Then there was a fire truck birthday cake. And what 3 year old birthday party would be complete with out "cake face"Morgan and Paiton went along for a little ride as well. The grand finale was Freddie the fire truck. I tried to capture the look on Austin's face everytime they sounded the siren, it was truly priceless!!

Granny joined in for the ride. The good thing is she can't hear too well to begin with becaus she was right under the siren for the entire ride.

Papa J and Ma' J wouldn't have missed this ride.

Easter and then some...

An unexpected couple of days allowed us to blow up our fabulous pool in the back yard.

Morgan thought the water was a little cold at first but she adjusted.

Morgan LOVES her bath time, but it usually ends up being a group bath because she LOVES to splash.
Can you imagine what I look like after this kind of bath time activities?

Austin had a ton of fun this Easter. He had a blast dying eggs and then hunting for them. When he found all of the eggs, we continued hiding them over and over again.

We took a trip to Brawley for Easter, this is where we learned the perks of the fabulous blow up pool :-) Thanks Pappa J And Ba' J

Austin and his Pappa J jamming to the i-pod

Austin checking out the horses. He enjoys every trip to Brawley more and more each time.

And of course Miss Morgan is loving her Brawley sunshine too.

Did I mention we took the Corgi's?

This is the wonder-pool

Spring has SPRUNG!

We have been enjoying the recent warm weather by spending a lot of time outside in the sun. Like Father, like Son. Austin is polishing up his scooter so he gets better gas mileage on the road.
Morgan has been such a refreshing break from the "terrible" twos. We are trying to convince ourselves that she will never be a two-year old.

Pappa Mike and Austin enjoying a little "campfire"

We FINALLY convinced Austin to go in a bounce house at the last birthday party we went to. It was embarassing to have all of the other parents watching me shove my son through the little doorway of the bounce house while he is kicking and screeming

Morgan enjoying a day at the park.

We have corgi fights in our front yard. Anyone want to place a bet?

This one is for Granny. Austin recently decided to relocate and he took all of his prized possessions with him. He should have called the movers.
